Even as we pulled up the drive to the gate, we got very positive vibes about this resort! I loved the beautiful palm trees!! The office is closed on the weekends, but the office personnel contacted us ahead of time to provide gate codes and where to find our welcome packet. Always nice to have such an organized arrival.
Our site is #664 on Barracuda Bend. It is a head-in site to the pond. Pulling in, leveling, and hooking up to all utilities was super easy. LOVE our site and the view! The “Luxury Lake Sites” have 1800 sq ft with the concrete pad and all the pavers.
Got on our bikes to check out the pickleball courts and swimming pool. Such friendly people here! Before we could walk to either after parking our
bikes, TY came up and introduced himself and invited to get a beer at a keg they had up in the extended pool area! We met several people and look forward to playing pickelball here. (4 nice, dedicated courts!
We will only be here for one week. I enjoyed the Keys, but I really like life here more. (Price is much better here, too! This site was about half of what it cost us at Sunshine Key RV.)
