Today we had a fun get-together with Abby, Maddox and Richard. Abby hosted it at her apartment complex.
Richard arrived and we started with snacks. I fixed the rest of what we’d eat and we took it all down to the entertainment space available on the 2nd floor. We could have used the BBQ and kitchen area there, but I preferred to have everything ready and not have clean up and lose visiting time with the kids. What a cool space to use for gatherings! There was an outdoor space as well, but it was a little cool today. Although we were going to play ping-pong, but there were no ping-pong balls – just paddles! Instead, we took turns playing the table shuffleboard.
At times we had some intense shots, some big whoops, and some awesome shots! It was fun watching techniques tweaked as games progressed. 🙂 Richard sometimes had a cool spin on his.
I love when we can spend time with any of our kids individually, but it is a special treat when we can have all three from Washington together with us as we did today. So proud of all our kids!!
