12-16-18 Early Christmas in Chula Vista

Barry and I decided to spend Christmas in Palm Springs so that we could enjoy the holidays, and not put additional stress on Justin & Erika to squeeze time in with us when they will have a lot of other family who will want time with them. Since Megan was down visiting from Washington, it worked out beautifully to have our family Christmas today. SO glad we did this! It really gave us special one-on-one time with them and time to enjoy playing with Isaac and Mona with the gifts we got them, and before they got inundated with a lot more stuff all in one day.

It wasn’t easy to buy for Isaac and Mona since space is tight and they currently share a room in the current apartment. We decided on things that expanded toys they already had.
For Isaac:
1) A bridge and more track for his small circle train track. It will give him a lot more flexibility especially when he puts the track together by himself.
2) Squigz–new, fun, creative shape that will stick to floors, windows, or walls.
For Mona:
1) Baby Stella, a soft, cute babydoll that has a magnetic pacifier. It may be a little big for her right now, but very soon it should be perfect! This Nana had to buy a babydoll for her for Christmas!
1) Baby Squigz- These are easy for her to grab and would be great to put on her highchair tray or use at a restaurant since they really stick on!

To share:
1) Three wheel bases + letter mega blocks with a train topper that goes with the Mega Blocks Isaac already has. Hopefully he will be more likely to share with a few more.
2) Bath time pipes. Play with them individually or assemble them together on the side of the tub and as you pour water in the top one it will go into others. Two have spinners.
