With limited space we had to be thoughtful when it came to decorating for Christmas. I brought with us a tabletop Christmas tree Advent calendar, and a knit Santa wine bottle cover that we got a few years ago from our friends Dan & Naomi Murphy, and the small nativity set that I put used to place under the Christmas tree. We found a short strip of poinsettias from Amazon that light up that were perfect to put in the front window. The strip of led lights that Barry put in Vinny for indirect lighting and ambience could be changed to red, green or red and green.
Barry and I went to St John’s Lutheran Church for a Christmas Eve service, It was a really nice service. Christmas Day we began with our morning walk around the park and then 2 hours of water volleyball! Janet and I put together dinner for the four of us. It was a really nice day–especially when we got to talk to our kids. Tomorrow we plan to go up the Palm Springs tram with Janet & Bob. How nice it has been to share the holidays with them!
