Window Sunscreens Installed

Our order for all the windows and carport sunscreens got delayed for 3 weeks because Phil, of Yuma Screens, was not receiving any of the framing materials in his weekly orders. We had hoped to have them up for our last couple weeks in the house, but there was nothing anyone could do. The framing finally came in this week. Phil went to work immediately on all our window screens. The next day he came out and installed them all.  We LOVE them!  We are so glad that we went with the dark brown! The carport screens will be completed within the next two weeks.

OUR house prior to Sunscreens
OUR house WITH NEW SUNSCREENS!

We liked how the darker screens kept the bigger windows as an architectural accent to the house. They are also easier and clearer to see out through from inside than the lighter shades were.
Additional views:

We did not include the kitchen windows due to lack of direct sun in them.
Living room and 2nd bedroom included with sunscreens.
Shed window gets lots of sun, so we included it.
Master Bedroom windows face west, so we definitely included them for screens. Framework for back screen and screen door started.

The back screen and screen door as well as the three sections of the carport will get finished within the next couple weeks. (After we leave for San Diego.)
