ROCK ‘N’ ROLLER COASTER – awesome rush! One of our favorite rides! Get the limousine ride of your life to get across town to attend Aerosmith’s concert who just gave us all backstage passes! 🙂
HOLLYWOOD TOWER OF TERROR – A classic based on The Twilight Zone. It’s another of our favorites! A ride that shoots you straight up multiple times with unpredictable drops! You know the drop is coming–but when? The delay adds to the suspense. Be ready for a window to open giving a great, but momentary view to the outside!
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST – Live on Stage!
Disney is a master at performance presentations whether it is in one of their parks or on a cruise ship. Definitely worth making time to see.
MICKEY AND MINNIE’S RUNAWAY RAILWAY (at the Chinese Theater.)
This attraction was an unexpected delight. I thought we were just going to be watching a Disney cartoon…
What a fun, cute ride! This is the first ride at any park that stars Mickey Mouse and friends. I hear it is even better at Disneyland because their queue takes you through the evolution of Mickey and friends. The ride is inspired by the Disney cartoon shorts.

Just walking into Toy Story Land brings back so many childhood memories. It’s fun to reminisce about the various toys and games we enjoyed throughout the years, and some again with our grandchildren.
TOY STORY MANIA – such a fun ride!
This ride brings out the competitive spirit in everyone as you try to rack up points as you shot at moving targets while being taken and spun around in your two seater car! Barry usually won, but I tended to have better accuracy. LOL I don’t remember which of us was yellow or green. I doubt that I actually beat him –but this one was close.
SLINKY DOG DASH – Great roller coaster as the slinky dog from Toy Story. Definitely worth getting a genie pass for this ride, or watch for short wait times.
Abby told me about DisneyBounding several years ago. It is people dressing in regular clothes to represent Disney characters. It takes some thought and planning for sure. While Abby is an expert in spotting even subtle examples. I spotted these two. I have to admit that I may not have noticed Woody if Jessie wasn’t there, They do look pretty cute together.
I can see where this could be fun for adult Disney fans going with friends. They get to embrace their Disney spirit and creativity, but hopefully be comfortable for the entire day/evening. For me? It’s enough for me to figure out what park to go to each day, pack snacks, and fix a lunch for us. I’ll stick with simply wearing comfortable clothing for higher temps and humidity, and if I get soaked on a ride it would dry quickly. But I will watch for other DisneyBounding participants-especially while waiting in line.
And of course there is the world of Star Wars!
MILLENIUM FALCON: SMUGGLERS RUN – Definitely worth doing. I like going on this ride prior to the newer ride – Rise of the Resistance, but make decisions based on wait times.
RISE OF THE RESISTANCE – The newest and interactive Star Wars attraction that everyone went crazy over when it came out a few years ago. An incredible experience, especially for huge Star War fans.
Walt Disney Presents: An interesting attraction that shows the humble beginnings of Walt Disney and his dream(s) as DisneyLand came to fruition and then blossomed to Disney World and then internationally. Nice to see IF you are here multiple days.
Did you realize the Magic Kingdom castle at Disney World is completely different from the one at Disneyland?
Sleeping Beauty’s Castle is in DisneyLand, and Cinderella’s Castle is in Disney World.
It was nice to have time to take in this exhibit about Walt Disney. Having grown up with Disney since the 1960’s, I found it to be interesting, but it was also a trip down memory lane. This was doable to fit in since we spent 3 days in Hollywood Studios
Chip ‘n Dale are Isaac’s favorite characters, so it was great that we saw them a couple of times. When we saw the Chip and Dale set in the Disney store, we picked up the pair dressed in the 50th Anniversary brocade vests for him for Christmas 2022.
So which one is Chip? Which one is Dale?
Chip has the “chocolate CHIP” nose, Dale has the bigger, rounder reddish nose, and Dale has an “e” for red.
Disney Studios Parade: Although not a priority, it is always nice to catch parts of a parade to see some Disney characters without wasting time waiting. We like to use parade times that keeps all those spectators occupied while we go to the rides. 🙂
FANTASMIC Show – This show is a spectacular nighttime, outdoor musical where the Disney forces of good and evil battle it out in Mickey’s dream. It is quite the extravaganza! We were spectators for the opening show of this current production. It has been at least two years in the making! It did not disappoint! Abby knew a producer of the show. She came out and visited with Abby prior to the start. The place was packed to the max! A MUST SEE!

Wonderful World of Disney Animation
This was an unexpected delight to see. This show transforms the facade of the Chinese Theatre into an outdoor theatre of a journey of more than 90 years of Disney and Pixar animation. People would cheer when their favorites appeared.
