A Day on the Water With Friends!

Bob and Kelly Robinson invited us to go out on Bob’s Bass boat just to enjoy a beautiful day on the water before we all leave Yuma the first week of May. I LOVE being out on the water! (No whales, Eric. LOL) We began and ended the day at the Martinez Lake boat launch. The day was perfect! Bob pointed out some of his favorite fishing holes. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and amazing homes bordering the various water inlets and lakes.

Yes, at 40+ MPH on the water, I was chilly, but it was also the only way to keep my hat on!! (Point proven later.)

Look! The SS Minnow is back from its “3-Hour Tour”! LOL

How cool to have a slide like this to the water! Amazing brick work.

Quite the homestead as you enter this beautiful lake. But we all decided it was too much to keep up. We have chosen the “keep it minimal and simple” way of life, and this would NOT fit that.

We went ashore at a picnic area where we ate our packed lunches, used the restrooms. Weather was ideal. No more sweatshirt or zipped jacket needed. 🙂 Soon we were back on the boat enjoying more time on the water.

Castle Dome seemed to appear in the distance from multiple vantage points. 🙂

AND…Here we go again! I decided to go hat-free—oops. Lost my cooling scarf that I use under my hat to protect my ears from the sun. Bobber circled back around, but there was no sign of it.

Thank you, Capt. Bobber and Best Mate Kelly for such a fun, relaxing day on the water!

    1. The boat is usually always booked for fishing with all the BassHoles 1-4. LOL Season was winding down. Might have to stay till May next year.
