The main strip of Branson looks a lot like that of Pigeon Forge with the Wax Museum, the Titanic, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, etc. We weren’t interested in any of that.

We pulled into Branson City Lakeside RV Park on Friday, June 6 for two nights. Our site was right next to a decent shower house which is always a plus.

View from Sadie to the lake.

We kept thinking this was a river or stream, but it is Table Rock Lake.

Today we had tickets to ride the alpine coaster. It was OK. We never had to break. There were two or three decent small sections, but the most thrilling one so far for us was the one at Mt Hood in Oregon!

Doug Stelma (pickleball friend from Yuma) highly recommended seeing this vocal group when he and Barry were talking about our trip including Branson, MO. So when Barry told me of the various attractions we could choose from while there, we both agreed on this acapella group – SIX. They each have their own color from their cars to most of their wardrobe changes during the show.
4 of the SIX have arrived at Legend’s Theater:

This group consists of SIX BROTHERS! There are no musical instruments, other than a Tamborine used in one song. Otherwise, they sing and make the music with their mouths. They were awesome! These guys are each so talented and extremely entertaining as they interact with the audience. GREAT SHOW!!

This brother was amazing as Louis Armstrong! So unexpected! He was incredible! You would have thought it was Louis himself singing!!! Was a definite highlight of the show for me. My video doesn’t do him justice!

We just recently watched a favorite YouTube channel, “Big Truck, Big Travels,” and they went to a WHATABURGER 3 times in one week (with their grandkids)! We decided maybe we should give it try. Since there was one on the way back towards the RV park, we decided now was a perfect time to try it. We just got a regular burger with cheese. It was a good tasting burger.

We had to park on the adjacent street, and when we went back to Sadie to leave, I saw this marmot in the yard opposite where we parked. Glad to leave it there. LOL

Yes, Barry and I are eating out more than we’ve ever done. I still do cook, but if we are out exploring, we are more likely to find something instead of packing a lunch along. Heck, we may try a Chick-Fil-A sometime on this trip since we have several friends who love it. One limits herself to once a month.

On the way home we stopped at the Bass Pro Shop. It was a smaller store than most, but I needed a new pair of hiking shoes for all the hiking we plan to do soon in the Canadian and US National Parks. They had a pair of Keens that felt really good. Super comfy!

Loved the lake’s foggy farewell to us Sunday morning!
